In October 2012 the third international workshop of the DHW project was held in Stirling, Scotland. A group of economists, regulators and other stakeholders joined the DHW Working Group to discuss the economic questions that arise from a proposed change in technology used to assess bathing water quality. It also looked at the subject of beach signage and the ways in which we can value risk information and water quality information.
